I’m not a critic but I thought I’d cash in on the end of the decade anyway and post my favorite records from the past ten years. All of the records that I picked out are things that I still want to listen to over and over again. They all still sound so fresh and wonderful.

Earlier today I was informed that my old band’s 2005 release was named number 51 of the top 100 Oklahoma albums of the 2000s by Oklahoma Rock! I must say thank you to Oklahoma Rock, you guys were always so, so nice to us!! To celebrate, native Oklahoman Brad Fielder is hosting the album for download at his website.

We had our first house show of the year with Matthew Davies, myself and Tom, Coney Island and Them Damn Kids. Steph Davies brought some lovely artwork to show and everyone brought food!! Without a doubt, the moment of the night was owned by Janelle when she was given a standing ovation for her outstanding work in the desert category!
